Our Journey

Our History & Growth

Founded in Kerala, India, in 1980 by Prof. Mathew P. Thomas, ICPF has grown into a global organization dedicated to mentoring students. We believe in reaching students with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, making disciples, and training leaders for global mission. Today, ICPF reaches thousands of college and university students across more than 25 countries, fostering spiritual stability, moral integrity, and social responsibility.

Statement of Faith

  • We believe in the Holy Scriptures as the inspired and infallible Word of God.
  • We believe in the Triune God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
  • We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, vicarious death, and bodily resurrection.
  • We believe in salvation by grace through faith in Christ alone, and the regenerating work of the Holy Spirit.

"Mentoring students is not just a ministry, it is building the foundation of tomorrow's world."

In the early 1970s, student gospel camps in Kerala began stirring a spiritual awakening among youth. In 1980, Prof. Mathew P. Thomas, along with fellow academicians and prayer partners, officially founded the Inter-Collegiate Prayer Fellowship (ICPF). Today, his legacy lives on through hundreds of coordinators and thousands of students whose lives were transformed under his vision.
